Rare £2 Coins. Shall I Sell?

I have 3 rare £2 coins and I don’t know if i should keep them or sell them.

The coins I have are a XVII Commonwealth Games 2002, a 2003 DNA Double Helix and a 2006 Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Can anyone give me advice on what to do?

Spend them they are not rare sorry

  • You should wait 15-20 years time to sell them as they would become much rare.

How to look after your coins?
If you have any dirty coins and you want to clean them get a cup of vinegar and place in your coins(leave for 10 minuites and dont touch).Next add 1 and a 1/2 spoons of sugar and pour it in the cup(leave for around 30 minuites and still dont touch).Get out your coins and wipe with a towel(prefferably hot water)and dab slowly.Dry with a clean towel as a dirty towel can sometimes ruin the coins.

I hope this article was helpfull.

The DNA £2 coin is one of only 4.3 million in circulation – been doing my research as I recently came across one myself!
