Do not allow them to inhale or even smell your passive smoke. Smoke in a place that is near an open window. There may be times when you will have to move the airconditioner in such a way that nobody else gets hit by the smoke. And it is very, very important that no one in the area is eating. The secondhand smoke from a discourteous smoker is a surefire way to ruin a meal.
The last courtesy tip you have to follow would to be mindful of where you flick your ashes. This would mean using the proper type of container and making sure everything is safe when disposing of them. Ashes can blow away with the wind quite easily, especially if you’re smoking an affordable cigar. Scattering your cigar ashes in public is a form of littering, and could blow near other people and cause discomfort.
